So.... it sounds like the Idol producers didn't think ahead when they decided to add Anoop as the 13th contestant last week. It slipped someone's mind to consider that during the first week of the finals you would need 13 phone numbers for all 13 contestants.
Well... when Idol bought the phone numbers they use now (1-866-IDOLS-_ _) they only bought 1-12. So... just buy 13, you say, right? Not so easy.
Come to find out... 1-866-IDOLS-13 is actually owned by a phone sex line! If you call it it is a number for "Hot Horny Girls".... LMAO!!!!! When I read this story, I had to call... and it is SO true.
Some people thought then why don't they just do 1-866-IDOLS-00... ? Seems like the phone sex line is pretty smart because they bought the rights to that one too! Who ever is the owner of that phone line is a business genius. They knew if Idol ever wanted to expand that they would have to pay big bucks to get the number. And I hope they do. Touche' 19 Entertainment!!!
That is so priceless. Looks like they have about 24 hours to figure out what the heck they are going to do about this.
